"Well, you know what's wrong with the world today? People done gone put their Bibles away. They're living by the law of the jungle, not the law of the land. Well, the goodbook says it so I know it's the truth, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. You better watch where you're going, remember where you've been. That's the way I see it. I'm a simple man."
.. Charlie Daniels (Simple Man)

I recently received a copy of a letter written by Ed Evans, MGySgt., USMC (Ret.) titled Do Not Forget!. It was an excellent and inspirational letter that should be shared by as many people as possible. You can view it here or click the link above Do Not Forget!.

The reason for this site is simple. It is time for some plain talk, some common sense, and a reality check. I am just plain tired of political correctness, nicey nice BS, and the sanitized crap we are spoon fed from the media, and then repeated, or worse preached, by those who have either forgotten how to think, or maybe just never learned how to think in the first place (you probably don't know who you are).

While I have been committing my thoughts to paper for some time, it is the events of September 11th, and these following days that's been a catalyst for finally making this site a reality. With that said, much of this site, for the foreseeable future, will deal with topics relative to that gutless act of those evil bastards of humanity, and those that would follow in their footsteps.

Let's engage in some free thinking, some inspection of history, and for our own sake, even though we are coming off one of the most individualistic eras in American history, let's come together for what's good and what's right, as one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

So, we are now faced with the task of opening a great big can of whoopass!!! If you have any questions about what that means, please refer to our President's Speech from October 20, 2001. It's time that we took a stand against the Bin Laden's and the wannabe's. Hatred, prejudice, and tyranny in any form must be stamped out. Notice I said stamped out, not confronted or addressed, like so many have said in the not too distant past. WAKE UP AMERICA, who gives a rats ass who feels oppressed, slighted, or didn't get enough love from their Mothers? The issue is simple, evil is as evil does, and stamping out evil wherever it rears its ugly head is just, righteous, virtuous, and just plain a really good thing to do! They don't get counseling, they don't get rehabilitated, they don't get chances, they get stamped out!! Quoting Charlie Daniels " We have to eradicate the people who attacked us, not in vengeance but in justice, and there is a difference. Vengeance would be to drop an atomic bomb on Afghanistan, justice is to take out the guilty parties and everybody associated with them. We must show the world that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated by a civilized nation." WELL SAID!

In his April 16, 1945 address before a Joint Session of Congress, President Harry Truman stated: "So there can be no possible misunderstanding, both Germany and Japan can be certain, beyond any shadow of doubt, that America will continue the fight for freedom until no vestige of resistance remains. We are deeply conscious of the fact that much hard fighting is still ahead of us. Having to pay such a heavy price to make complete victory certain, America will never become a party to any plan for partial victory. To settle for merely another temporary respite would surely jeopardize the future security of the world. Our demand has been, and it remains, unconditional surrender."

On August 6, 1945, just 16-hours after the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, Truman issued a statement which said, in part: "The Japanese began the war from the air at Pearl Harbor. They have been repaid many fold. à We are now prepared to obliterate more rapidly and completely every productive enterprise the Japanese have above ground in any city. We shall destroy their docks, their factories, and their communications. Let there be no mistake: we shall completely destroy Japan's power to make war."

Truman understood that there could be no peace without total victory.

Let's see, we stamped out Hitler and Nazi Germany, today the good people of Germany are our allies. We stamped out Hirohito and the Imperial Japanese Empire, and today the good people of Japan our friends and close allies as well. In confrontations such as Korea and Iraq, we walked away before doing the very thing that was required of us to do, to eliminate the evil we faced, and today these same enemies remain a threat to democracy, freedom and the goodness which we so desire for all mankind. OK thinkers, do we see any sort of pattern emerging here? Do we need go backwards to ancient cultures and former civilizations to see how these lesson have been played out over and over again? C'mon non- thinkers you may even get a small clue here too.

Nearly 3,000 innocent lives were wiped out in the blink of an eye on September 11th. As many as 15,000 children are now without one or both parents. Here's the deal fellow Americans, if the terrorists and many evil hate mongers we now face have their way You and I, and my children and your children will be next! And quite frankly I am with our President, I'm not going to allow it!

We're not helpless, each of us can do our parts, just like our parents, grandparents, and their parents did. We can pray, pray for the families of those who were injured or killed, pray that our nation's leaders will have the necessary wisdom in the decisions that they must now make. Support our men and women in the military. Support our President. Support our local police and fire departments. Support all those men and women who serve us so patiently. Fly old glory. Hug, kiss and reassure your children. Help unify our country by engaging your neighbors and your community. Donate blood, money or time to those in need. There is so much that each of us can do, so please don't stand by and let the hour pass when we all need to do all that we can.

In the event you missed this, there was widespread but only partial news coverage given recently to a remarkable editorial broadcast from Toronto by Gordon Sinclair, a Canadian television commentator titled America: The Good Neighbor. What follows is the full text of his trenchant remarks as printed in the Congressional Record:

"This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as the most generous and possibly the least appreciated people on all the earth. Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy were lifted out of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and forgave other billions in debts. None of these countries is today paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States.

When France was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who propped it up, and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the streets of Paris. I was there. I saw it. When earthquakes hit distant cities, it is the United States that hurries in to help. This spring, 59 American communities were flattened by tornadoes. Nobody helped.

The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars into discouraged countries. Now newspapers in those countries are writing about the decadent, warmongering Americans. I'd like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States dollar build its own airplane. Does any other country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the Lockheed Tri-Star, or the Douglas DC10? If so, why don't they fly them?

Why do all the International lines except Russia fly American planes? Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or woman on the moon? You talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios. You talk about German technocracy, and you get automobiles. You talk about American technocracy, and you find men on the moon - not once, but several times - and safely home again.

You talk about scandals, and the Americans put theirs right in the store window for everybody to look at. Even their draft-dodgers are not pursued and hounded. They are here on our streets, and most of them, unless they are breaking Canadian laws, are getting American dollars from ma and pa at home to spend here. When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through age, it was the Americans who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose. Both are still broke.

I can name you 5000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other people in trouble. Can you name me even one time when someone else raced to the Americans in trouble? I don't think there was outside help even during the San Francisco earthquake. Our neighbors have faced it alone, and I'm one Canadian who is damned tired of hearing them get kicked around. They will come out of this thing with their flag high. And when they do, they are entitled to thumb their nose at the lands that are gloating over their present troubles. I hope Canada is not one of those." Stand proud, America!"

Well said Mr. Sinclair, c'mon America, say Amen!

I R A Q

Now we are engaged in a battle with the Iraq, and the axis of evil is on notice. Terror will not be tolerated! To France, Russia, China and those that put their self-interest (follow the money) I would say, WAKE UP! The face of the world has changed, and we MUST face the idiocy and insanity of "religous" zealots, morally corrupt societies, and the insane of the world that would do us harm, that would do our children harm, that find a sadistic hellistic satisfaction in the killing of innocent men, women and children. They want that death because those people are of a different race, faith, or culture. America has been there, and has overcome that horrible dark time of predjudice and persecution, and we just can't, as a nation, tolerate that kind of injustice and inhumanity anywhere, ever again. It is not hard to grasp, it's a simple ideal of humane, fair and descent regard for our fellow men, women and children. No one made America the moral authority, but no one has the right to persecute another .. period.

CBC and Wake up America would like to respectfully request that all please visit the Department of Defense web page below and sign in thanking the men and women of the U.S. military services for defending our freedom. The compiled list of names will be sent out to our soldiers at the end of the month. So far, there are only about 5.2 million names. What a shame...... National Military Appreciation Month. The entire exercise takes 10 seconds...literally. Please sign in with your support and pass it on to your friends.

COMING SOON ...... I cannot stand by and observe the absolute insanity in Israel without some serious comment. It is every bit as rediculous as the Al Queda, and frankly boggles the mind! For a quick history of the evolution of lands of Palestine and Israel you can view this The History of Palestine and Israel. If you disagree, say so on the comments page. Stay tuned for a reasonable rambling on the "Rediculous Middle East" !
